We are in in windows 2008 domain , and internet authenication througth websense , But couple of our users haveing an issue when they try connect intenet , system is asking for username and password to authenticate with websense so they have to manually enter domaim username and password, normally this comes comes when machine is in stand by or hibernate.
Cached credentials can be an issue sometimes. It depends on the applications that the users access. I know that an Exchange 2003 OWA session can cause this issue for some staff here. You are prompted to feed credentials that differe from your domain credentials to IE. This seems to 'confuse' IE as to what credentials it is using for Pass Through Authentication. This leads to websense refusing the connections.

Login to your Cisco ISE Portal and navigate to Administration > pxGrid Services, note that the client account is in the pending state, select the client account and click on Approve to approve the client account for username & password.
Did you change the Master Password for your 1Password account recently? If so, you'll need to finish changing your password in the app. Open and unlock 1Password 7 using your old Master Password, click the red authentication error banner, and sign in with your new Master Password.
You are right.... I have a synchronization problem with the desktop version. If I change a password on this laptop, onsite - at the company, it doesn't show up on my iPhone.Let me have them check this ports-domains link you provided and I will see if we can get it corrected so everybody can use 1Password.I'll be back with the results...

That's very thorough. Thanks for the update! I think in most cases not all of those will be needed (e.g. many will only be using 1password.com, etc., not the European or Canadian servers), but that will avoid the need to make additions. Cheers! :)
I meet an issue about the LDAP authentication using windows 2008 AD. Our proxy server support LDAP authentication but need some basic configuration on the proxy server, like, AD server ip address, bind DN, password and base DN.
Go the client try to browse some webpage, proxy server will ask for user name and password to get authenticated. Now, I try to capture the packets on AD, I found the initial bind request for administrator is OK. And for the username I input from client, AD also could find it. E.g.
You don't require domain admin ID for authentication, ID member of account group is more than sufficient, as i did it in past for authentication AD user to websense. I guess ldap is running on linux server & you are accessing the console from windows machine.
Eric, We too had same issue like yours & finally we land up calling websense guy, but since it was not under my domain, he did something & it worked. The account we created in AD for websense authentication was account operator membership & that time we had lotus note but we upgraded to exchange 2007 & but still old account was in used w/o modification. Websense content gateway is used for filtering & reporting & its one of the best product but speaking truly i haven't worked much on it, so would suggest let the websense support person helps you further. You can try Ace solution & if it doesn't its better time to ask websense support.
For example, your organization's product might detect malicous content on a password-protected page. Because ACEInsight has access to only the public areas of the site, it may not see the private content that caused your request to be blocked.
